This southern Illinois 8 pointer was taken by James Burns during the first weekend of the 2009 muzzleloader season. He was shot at 20 yards trailing a yearling doe and then proceeded to run 100 yards before succumbing to the perfectly placed lung shot. The Alexander County buck field dressed at 149 lb's.
