~ dove breasts, enough for your flock
~ jalapeno peppers
~ thick cut bacon, enough for 1 per breast
~ Italian dressing
Skin and clean dove breasts.
Place half of a jalapeno pepper on the bone side of each breast.
Wrap each breast with a piece of bacon. (Secure bacon with a wooden toothpick.)
Marinade the prepared breasts in Italian dressing overnight.
Grill over a low to medium heat until the bacon is done.
Enjoy with your favorite side dishes!
* Note: You might even add a little onion or other "kicker" inside the bacon wrapper for a whole new sensation.
