Hobo Style BBQ Venison Sent in by Patrick Hardiman.

~ deer steaks or chops ~ 1 bottle ketchup ~ 3 - 5 tsp molasses ~ salt and pepper ~ onion powder ~ 6 tsp worcestershire sauce ~ 4 shots whiskey ~ tabasco sauce, optional ~ drizzle of mustard, optional

In a large bowl, mix together the ketchup, molasses, worcestershire and whisky. Season to taste with the salt, pepper and onion powder.
Add the tabasco and mustard to taste if desired.
Place the meat in a dish or bowl. Cover with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Heat grill on medium heat.
Add meat and grill until done. Baste often with the sauce.
Serve and enjoy.
