~ 2lb's ground venison
~ 1 egg, beaten
~ 15 - 20 crackers, crumbled
~ 1 medium onion, finely chopped
~ 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
~ 1/2 tsp thyme
~ 1 tbsp lemon juice
~ 2 tbsp butter, melted
~ 2 tsp chopped parsley
~ 3 tbsp oil
~ hamburger buns
In large mixing bowl, combine venison, egg, crackers, onion, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, butter and parsley. Add more crackers to mixture if needed.
Shape mixture into 1/2 inch-thick patties.
Brown in oil turning when half done.
While burgers are cooking, butter the buns and toast butter side down in a skillet over low heat.
