Venison & Rice Dinner

~ 1lb ground deer
~ 1 onion, chopped
~ 2 tbsp oil
~ 1 tsp salt
~ 1/2 tsp pepper
~ 1/2 tsp thyme
~ 1/2 tsp oregano
~ 1 1/2 cup beef broth
~ 1 can tomatoes
~ 3/4 cup uncooked rice
~ 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

In a large skillet add the oil. Mix the chopped onion to the deer. Cook until brown.

Drain off fat if any.

Stir in the salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, tomatoes, broth and rice. Heat to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 - 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Sprinkle on the cheese.

Serve and enjoy!
