Camp-out Deer

~ 2 lbs. deer meat, cubed
~ 1/2 cup olive oil
~ 1 large onion, chopped
~ 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
~ salt
~ pepper

Heat the oil in a Dutch oven or large iron skillet.

Add the meat, onion and mushrooms. Season to taste with the salt and pepper.

Cook over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onions are soft.

Serve on bread or buttered toast.
