Alligator Jerky

~ 1 lb gator meat, cut into 1/4" thick slices
~ 1/2 cup Tabasco sauce
~ 1/2 tsp garlic salt
~ 1/4 cup soy sauce
~ lemon pepper seasoning

Mix the Tabasco, garlic salt and soy sauce together.

Place meat in ziplock bag. Pour in the sauce mixture.

Seal and refrigerate overnight.

Remove meat and shake off excess.

Place on dehydrator screen.

Season generously with the lemon pepper on one side only.

Dehydrate 6 - 8 hours depending upon your prefered dryness.


Store in jar or bag in refrigerator.

Adjust seasoning to taste next batch.
