Has anyone ever fished Lake Hugo in southeast Oklahoma? Is it a good crappie lake? Any info will be appreciated.

I am not 100 % sure about wether or not it is a good crappie lake my husband says it is if you can figure out when they are there. But if you are planning on fishing with a boat I would suggest a different lake. There are a ton of stumps in this lake and it is a bit hard to get around them sometimes. There is a lake called Sardis Lake not far from here that is good and Broken Bow is a good one not far from here either.

fishing at lake hugo is super. the crappie are barndoor , the flatheads are huge and the bass is fantastic.i fished there for 10 years. you can catch your limit of crappie in a short time. the last time i fished there was 2001 but i have friends that still fish there
