I have an offer to buy a .357 magnum, is this a large enough caliber for deer?

Check with your states regulation! and remember a bad shot doesn't kill no mater what size cannon you are using.

Size (or calibur) don't count....I have killed deer with a .22, check regulations before buying and practice afterwards....don't need no accidents!

Like GA_Outlaw said, "size don't matter", but a .357 is more than enough gun to kill a deer. The key is practice! Good Luck.

yes it is use a 180 grain winchester partition gold bullet an limit your range to 50 yards. you could also use a 200grain cor bon load for max penetration.
